Kelly appoints four new administrators

Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller on Wednesday announced four new appointments.

They are: Matthew Whelan as director of Solid Waste Management; Tracy Dingmann as digital content manager; Patrick Montoya as director of Municipal Development; and Carol Pierce as director of Family and Community Services.

“These four individuals are dedicated public servants who share our aspiration to see our community thrive,” Keller said in a statement.

Whelan has experience in the waste disposal industry and holds degrees in accounting and finance administration from New Mexico State University.

Dingmann has 30 years of experience in print, broadcast and online communication, including 18 years with the Albuquerque Journal.

Montoya is a veteran manager in local, state and federal government, including prior roles with the city in Neighborhood Coordination, Capital Improvement, and Family and Community Services.

Pierce has spent more than three decades in the public and private health fields. Most recently she was manager for the School-Based Health Center Program at UNM, Pediatrics.
